"Marcha den Defensa del Derecho al matrimonio entre personsas de Mismo Sexo" - March in the defense for the right for the same sex couples to Marry, held Saturday, February 6, 2010, in Mexico City.
The crowd of GLBT people and their supporters gathered to start the March at the Angel of Independence in La Zona Rosa. The March did not to towards the Zocalo in front of the Presidential Place but to the official residence of the President of Mexico, Los Pinos.

MEXICO CITY—Mexico City's mayor says he will defend the capital's gay-marriage law and insists the ordinance will take effect in March despite an appeal by federal prosecutors.
