I conic Mexican singer, Paquita la del Barrio says that she would prefer a child starve to death on the street then to be adopted by "them," a same-sex couple. Paquita who has had made money from the GLBT community has really pissed me off. I am no longer a fan and will no longer buy her music and I hope you will do the same.

I found the 20 min film, "Simple," by 20-year old, independent Mexican film maker Chucho E. Quintero charming. Brought back memories of having a crush on a boy when I was so teenage ... don't want to give too much information and spoil the fun in seeing the movie.
I spoke with Quintero today and we had a nice conversation on how he made the film, locations, wardrobe, the actors, Quintero had no money for a budget, but with the help of his friends, family, AND a borrowed camera - yes a borr...
